Dear kate, I just got back from the poster store
So thought I'd sit down and post some more.

And knowing your birthday should be bombastic,
I thought fully composed a limerick:

There once was a young girl from NOVA
Who traveled the entire world Ovah
Her smiles were bright
Her Irish Dancing was tight
An everyone she met was lucky to know her.

Sorry if this Limerick is lame.
Most birthday poems sound exactly the same.

Perhaps if there was more time,
I'd come up with some much better rhymes.

It would be easier, it's true.
If I were as creative and brilliant as you.

But until then, let me just say,
in a most emphatic and heart felt way,
That even when proverbial skies are gray,
You make the world better in a real big way.

Happy Birthday!
(It's what they say in the U.S. of A)

Love,
Sam
